Always minify your images using TINY JEPG before uploading them to the components image library. Keep images organised by using folders. Always upload images in JPEG format. PNG should only be used for logos. You're looking for an image file size of no bigger than 200kb (or as close as you can possibly get). Right click the file and click the properties option, that's how you can find out how big the file size is. 

Donation Autoresponder Thank You Emails

• Full-width images: must be sized to 540px wide. Height is flexible but should be in landscape format.
• Image/Text blocks & Follow: images must be sized to 260px wide. These blocks work best in portrait format.
• Signature images: Portrait 90px wide 110px tall
• GIF files should be no more than 250 KB in size and have a width of either 540px or 260px depending on block placement

Action Autoresponder Thank You Emails

• Full-width images: Landscape min 660px wide max 1000px wide
• Image/Text blocks: Portrait to square min 500px wide max 700px wide
• Signature images: Portrait 180px wide max 200px wide
• GIF files should be no more than 250 KB in size and have a minimum width of either 660px or 500px depending on block placement

Email Broadcast Emails

• Full-width or main story images: Landscape min 660px wide max 1000px wide
• Half-width images (two column layouts): Portrait to square min 500px wide max 700px wide
• GIF files should be no more than 1 MB in size and have a width of either 660px or 500px depending on block placement
• Donation impact: Landscape width 500px
• Follow Block: Landscape width 500px
• E-News Summary List: Portrait width 500px by 600px high
• Signature images: Portrait 200px wide by 240px high

Donation pages

Page 1 with form

• Background image: minimum width and height 1200px, with a maximum width of 1600px.
• Persuasive image/text block: upload image at 575px wide
• Image with text panels: upload image at 500px wide. Landscape format works best.
• Gift Impact: image needs to be a minimum width 700px and height 1060px for desktop display. 700px x 700px for mobile display.
• Victories: Min width 800px. Landscape format works best.
• Testimonials images: upload at 200px wide
• Two column panel: upload at 600px wide
• Social Share: Min 600px wide and a ratio of 1.91:1

Page 2 thank you for your donation

• Background image: Min width 1400px with a max height 700px

Action Pages

• Page 1: The background image must be a minimum width of 1400px and a maximum width of 2560px. The maximum display height is 700px - The left-hand column 'share' image needs to be 540x360px  
• Page 2:  The background image must be a minimum width of 1400px. Maximum display height is 700px

Inside action and donation pages:

• Social Details > Settings >General tab: landscape format min 600px wide at a ratio of 1.91:1

Campaign Monitor

• Full-width or main story images: Landscape min 660px wide max 1000px wide

Umbraco

• Header / slideshow / background content panel images reaching across the whole width of the page: Min 2000px wide x 615px high or higher ratio thereof
• Macro images within rich text content blocks on a page: Min 730px wide in a landscape format. Where possible upload images at 1500px wide, as this creates a better experience for users who have high-resolution devices.
• Slideshow: width 1110px height 615px
• Listing Images & Box Sliders that will represent a page in search results and list views: Min 470px x 470px
• Impact Content Block: Min 470 x 470 px or higher ration thereof. Square crop
• Tabbed Content Block: Min 346 x 214px or higher ratio thereof
• Video Content Block: video thumbnail should be min 350 x 350px and a square crop.
• CTA Fly-In: Min 620 x 310px or higher ratio thereof.
