Noelle Harrison is the internationally bestselling author of sixteen novels. Her most recent novel, The Witches of Vardø, published under the pen name Anya Bergman was shortlisted for the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year 2023 and was a Sunday Times Historical Fiction Book of 2023. Her new novel The Tarot Reader of Versailles is published in June 2025. Noelle is also a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Edinburgh Napier University. In her creative work she aims to raise lost voices from the past in the form of feminist retellings of historical fiction.
