Compassion in
World Farming has been campaigning for better welfare for farm animals
for over three and a half decades. Initially a small organisation
campaigning for better standards of animal welfare in the UK only,
we soon turned our attentions to Europe and most recently to the rest
of the world.
CIWF believes it is vital to campaign, lobby and educate at an international
level and we are connected with an extensive family of animal welfare
groups which reach to the four corners of the globe.
In Europe CIWF leads the European Coalition for Farm Animals, consisting
of 30 animal welfare groups in 25 different countries, and on a worldwide
level CIWF co-ordinates its campaigns with over 150 groups other groups.
